May Gurney

We've looked after the May Gurney website since January 2002, continually developing and enhancing it. The website is the key plank in May Gurney's communications armory - it is crucial to the company's on-going success.

At the heart of the website is an active company newsfeed. On average we publish around 20 news stories each month - one every working day. Our role is to work with the internal comms team to generate these news stories and publish them on the website.

There's no doubt that regular professional publishing drives traffic to a website - it encourages stakeholders to visit the site regularly and provides a reason to remind people to visit via an email alert.

Confirmation of the success of this strategy comes in the form of traffic to the May Gurney website - in the period Feb 2009 - Feb 2010 the number of visits to the site increased by almost 45%.
